All fees may be paid to:

  • Fireside Chris — God of Dungeons
  • Laibia (Jenn)
  • Demi Caorthannach the Confounded

Please be sure to carefully read over the rules and regulations posted below. Entry fee submission will be accepted as acknowledgement and acceptance of the rules and regulations of this season's competition by ALL team members associated with your teams. Additional in-game costs may be accrued based on the use of certain options detailed in the rules and regulations.

Please note: these rules apply in conjunction with the guild rules. These rules do NOT nullify or pardon violations of any guild rules.

The top 4 teams will win a percentage of the pool based on their end-of-season ranking in the competition.

50%1st Place
30%2nd Place
10%3rd Place
5%4th Place

One Team Per Player

While not part of the rules listed, this is an amendment that NEEDS to be followed: each player may ONLY be a part of ONE team. This is to protect the integrity of the teams and avoid conflicts of interest.

Medical Leave Amendment

There are times when medical emergencies take place that can cause players to be away from the guild for an unexpectedly extended period of time. If you find yourself in that situation, please communicate that to Fireside Chris — God of Dungeons, Laibia (Jenn), or Demi Caorthannach the Confounded as soon as possible — preferably before the leave takes place, if possible. If you have to communicate it through another player, that is acceptable as well.

We will be monitoring the status of those toons during your absence in case the 28-day purge auto-removes you from the guild. Please return to one of the chapters of The Old Gods as soon as you are able.

Do note that should any of those toons join another guild that is NOT a chapter of The Old Gods, that will trigger Rule 1 and result in the disqualification of that toon — it will not be allowed to return to the competition.

Point of Clarification

Teams are considered groups of 5. Each team is allowed two (2) additional players that are free to be swapped in and out of the team at will. This makes the team maximum 7. Once you have hit 7 members, no other players may become a part of your team — even if a player steps down.

Official Midnight Season Two Competition Rules

1. Character Eligibility & Guild Requirements

  • 1.1 Guild Lock: All competing characters (mains and alts) must be active members of an official “The Old Gods” guild chapter. They must remain in the guild and on the same character for the entire duration of the competition. Leaving the guild or deleting the character at any point results in immediate disqualification.
  • 1.2 Season Start Eligibility: Characters must be inside “The Old Gods” guild at the exact time the season opens to be eligible.
  • 1.3 Late-Creation Exception: Characters created after the season starts are only eligible if they meet all of the following conditions:
    • They are created prior to the 21st day of the season.
    • They are invited into an official “The Old Gods” guild chapter within 60 minutes of character creation.
    • A screenshot displaying that character's level 10 achievement must be provided with the date of acquisition visible. The acquisition date must be after the start of the season but no longer than 21 days after the start of season.
  • 1.4 Guild Exclusivity: Characters created under rule 1.3 are strictly prohibited from joining any other guild at any point prior to, or during, the competition.

2. Base Alt (Alternate Characters) Registration

  • 2.1 Free Alt Limit: Each registered player is permitted a maximum of two (2) alts included in their initial registration. These alts are subject to no additional fees but must completely satisfy all conditions in Rule 1.

3. Paid Alt Extensions

  • 3.1 Paid Alt Limit: Each player may purchase the entry of exactly one (1) additional alt beyond the limit in Rule 2, bringing their absolute maximum to three (3) alts.
  • 3.2 Entry Fee: The fee for this additional alt is exactly 25,000 (25k) World of Warcraft Gold, payable to designated competition organizers. No other currencies will be accepted.
  • 3.3 Strict Adherence: Paid alts must strictly adhere to all conditions outlined in Rule 1. Pre-existing characters that were not in “The Old Gods” guild at the start of the season cannot be brought in mid-season via this fee.

4. Roster & Player Exchanges

  • 4.1 Team Exchange Cap: A team is limited to a maximum lifetime total of two (2) unique player slot exchanges for the entire duration of the competition. These exchanges must be completed before the 21st day of the season. Once a team replaces two player slots, their roster is permanently locked.
  • 4.2 Free Agency Ban: Players dropped from one competing team's roster are completely ineligible to join any other competing team's roster during the season.
  • 4.3 Exchange Eligibility: Incoming replacement players and their utilized characters must fully comply with Rules 1, 2, and 3.

5. Registration Deadlines

  • 5.1 Hard Cutoff: All teams, rosters, initial players, replacement players, and all alts (including paid alts purchased under Rule 3) must be officially registered no later than exactly 21 days after the start of the season.
  • 5.2 Late Registration Ban: Absolutely no characters, alts, or teams may be added to the competition database after the 21-day deadline, regardless of fees paid.

6. Identity Locks, Server Transfers, and Deletions

  • 6.1 Name & Server Lock: Team names, character names, factions, and character servers are permanently locked upon registration.
  • 6.2 Deletion & Re-creation Ban: Deleting a character and re-creating it with the same name constitutes a rule violation and results in immediate disqualification of that character.
  • 6.3 Server Transfer Disqualification: Transferring a competition character to another realm or faction during the competition is strictly prohibited. Any character that causes a tracker platform error due to a server or faction change will be disqualified instantly.
  • 6.4 Blizzard-Forced Changes: The only exception to Rule 6.1 is a name change mandated by Blizzard Entertainment. To maintain eligibility after a forced change, the player must submit a screenshot of the official Blizzard forced-change notification to the organizers within 24 hours of the request.

7. Addon and Profile Tracking Requirements

  • 7.1 Addon Installation: All competing players must have the Raider.io addon installed and active during all competition activities.
  • 7.2 Profile Privacy & Sync Mandate: Players must keep their Raider.io profiles fully public and linked to their Battle.net accounts. It is the player's sole responsibility to ensure their character data actively syncs to the Raider.io web network. If a player's data cannot be verified on the Raider.io website, their progress will count as zero for that tracking period.

All of these rules are required to be met for every one of the members competing, no exceptions.
